I like them, but the only problem is the (nowadays) chav appeal.

1.6 VTEC & 160bhp = good sound, and fun!

depends on the area really, very popular around bradford but only really the smaller engines as they're high insurance groups and are becoming harder to find

Like said, majority in Fife and Aberdeen. But seriously, value for a late 99 60k on the clock I'd say you'd be looking around the 5k mark, depending on condition. I bought mine in oct 06 with 72k on the clock, with a few mods (coilovers and ek9 grill), mint condition, for 5750.

Fuel wise, as said, drive normally and you'll see good returns from the b16a2. Have had 380 miles to a tank motorway driving. I drive country roads to work each day, and often hit vtec y0 Often see 250ish miles when driving harsh. Earlier cj's were T reg, and later ones V reg, both '99.

Watch out for the common rust on the back arches and rear break calipers siezed. Other than that, they're pretty indestructable. Mines just hit 95k and still drives like new, leather is wearing a bit though

Any other questions just let me know, cheers.
