my mate whos now passed awayy was charged with it numerous times and never got Prison..and he said its his first offence, a caution more than likely and paying victim money etc.

either way, gbh or death by dangerous driving its not looking like a walk in the park.
although the way the current state of things are it'll be a strongly worded letter saying dont do it again. then they'll spot someone going 2mph over the limit and screw him for everything (not that i think whole court system is shite)

Me + this lad have history.
He + his mates jumped me in the middle of the street about 3 months back.
Police dont wanna know because its a seperate incident.
My mate saw a bottle thrown at me/ near me in a bar. He's gone over + kicked off instantly + then ive followed because bottles have been launched.
I was acting in defence of my mate who i thought was gonna get bottled. He's finished hitting him + then i've gone over and slapped him around about 3- 4 times + then got sent to the back of the meat wagon.
Being classed as a 20 instead of a 47 ABH because of a cut ie: "sect 20 // Wounding"
End.

at the end of the day you were defending yourself.i think its natural instinct to do whats right at the time it happened.he sounds like he deserved to get a beating just for throwing the bottle.
if i was you and i seen him out i would have walked the other way without him thinking your scared of him or anything
