Although there was one on our stand at Trax
Even better then, as Steve said "well we cant all drive around in cloned cars" ...if they are that rare, then surely it would be better suited to him.
There was one on the CS stand at PVS this year too

The Tigra looks far better and I would think its an easier/cheaper conversion as your are not really changing the bodywork too much

The tigra looks awesome.
Get a Tigra, spray it candy red with a set of Khans and it would look awesome.

Looks too home-brew for me. If you want a pick-up, find a real one and mod that.
http://www.autotrader.co.za/ is full of them

It's possible to do it - bit of a mission and you may need to know some people but I wouldn't rule it out.

Tigra is a better idea, that blue things been chopped and badly. Thought corsa pickups only come left hand drive and look very different at the back compared to the smurf mobil

That'll fold like a roadmap in the event of a crash.
And kill you.
In that order.

Just put your foot in the pickup bed and use it as a rollerskate.

I would imagine the rear roof section also creates structure, particularly as the windows are bonded in. It all contributes to the overall rigidity of the bodyshell and cutting it up like that will make it weaker.
I just think if you're going crazy with a big engine and proper paint job you may as well start with the right base car. Even if that means a little holiday to SA. You'll end up with something done properly that will also sell on if need be.
