7 miles, some ace roads, can do it about 6mins or 20mins just depends how your feeling!
All along the coast, so in summer its amazing in winter it can turn nasty with the tide!

Don't care about mpg as it's such a short distance I only fill the car up once every 2 or 3 weeks now
The only problem are the other drivers. People are so aggressive it's unreal.
Big change from my last job where it took me an hour to do 20 miles and cost me a fortune. I earn a lot less in my current job, but because I don't spend over £200 a month on diesel I end up with more money in my back pocket

Distance: 43 miles (each way)
MPG: 36 ish
Average Speed: 50-60 (on a good day)
Time: Anything from 45mins (nothing on the roads) to 2/3 hours. Usually around the 1hour mark though.
Could be worse, could be a lot better too as it's a pretty dull drive....

2.5 miles
4 minutes - no traffic lights
6 minutes - no traffic lights and head wind
8 minutes - traffic lights and head wind
Just though I would make the distinction, on straight roads a head wind kills you as a cyclist
Average speed - according to my computer 22km/h
Its only a shite commute when its raining

1.7 miles up the road, 1.5 of that is 30mph, the rest is 40. I get 30 through my village easily, but when I get to the top turning it's practically standstill every day, so probably get about an average of 10mph for the last 0.8 mile. Usually takes just over 10 mins, more on a really bad day. Need to start cycling when it gets sunnier, takes around 10 mins (going fast is effort and there's a bit of uphill ).
Rated 7 because it's not far, but it's annoyingly slow on a bad day. Good ol' rush hour.
Oh yeah, coming home is literally straight back with no traffic, as I never finish later than 3 unless I stay late.

Northwich to High Legh. 8 miles each way.
Only traffic I have is on the road past my house, the rest is back lanes.
Great commute in summer. In winter I have to use the bypass, which is a pain.
