best chuck this 160 bhp XE motor away and fit a 1.2 then!. Should I go 8v or 16v? will a 16v fit is such a small bay?

should go for a 1.0 conversion mate ( 12 volt) ive heard crazy speeds have been achieved from them.

Either his engine is goosed, or he hasn't discovered more than 2 gears yet. A 1.6 Sport, (which are by no means quick) should lay waste to an SXi.
