I wore braces for years but I was only a kid back then, I remember they fucking hurt after being tightened though.

i have train tracks on the front and bottom atm got to have them for 3 years (until im 21) which is not nice
tbh i hate them, there horrible, hard to live with, painful, ugly and maintenance is a nightmare.
However in 3 years and after my operation my specialist said i will have "perfect" teeth and a very strong jawline so the chicks should dig that lol

I had train tracks for 2 and a half years, then wore a retainer (only at night) for 6 months and I couldn't be happier with the results.
Best to do it whilst you're still young mate.

i wore braces for like 6 years, started off with retainers then onto train tracks and then back onto retainers, used to ache when they tightened them up, retainers were a pain in the ass BUT it was defo worth it.

They ache like feck when theyre tightenend - worth it though mate- I only had them for about 2 years and my teeth were fecked- well worth it mate- no one with half a brain is gonna have a problem with you wearing braces. Its no different from wearing a cast on a broken bone.
