But ever since i left the vauxhall fold after owning them for 6years,i now know how shite they are.Jap or German is the way forward IMHO.JapCrap rules.
However ask the same question on the MK3OC and u will get a yes from them. They all think mk3s are the bestest cars ever made.

my dad's had various fords over a 25 year span and never had any major problems.

it's how you drive it and if you maintain it, just like any other car...

anyway, this is a topic about a tvr tuscan, and if you want to keep insulting me about an orange car, go ahead, but it will just end in ian showing his face

One of the guys I know from Birmingham drove a T350C as his daily driver, clocked up over 30k a year and it never broke down on him.

Granted, he only had it 18 months, but thats 45k. I was very impressed with its reliability.

Yes of course I am , it was all that talk of 6's lol Speed 6 is just a tarted up Tuscan... Speed 12 is a mentalist

And yes you are right, Sagaris/Tuscan 2 are 4.0 straight 6!

Whats the view out the front window like on these??The cerberas are shite u cant see jack shit.

I said that to him actually, and he said he's never had a single problem with it. I mean when I saw daily driver I don't mean he does 100's of miles a day, he said he only does about 6000 a year but it's just that he doesn't have a 2nd car as most TVR owners would!

I thought it was pretty shit actually, but it's a TVR so you can let it slide

Shares the same e ngine as the Sagaris and a few custom made last model T350C's

Oh

He said it was fitted with a newer engine (V12) as they used to use V8's. Maybe I heard wrong as he was telling me the entire TVR history at the time

I know he said it was a 4 litre that's for sure.

Ears are still ringing

TVR redid all the old engines because the head gaskets kept going on them and they were constant problems. Maybe he meant he got a newer one.

I know someone with a T350, had it for almost a year, as far as im aware he's not had any problems with it. He uses it as advertising for his company when he's flying around circuits on track days! (he was at trax last year for anyone that went)

Later T350Cs, the Sagaris and most Tuscan 2s are all Russian TVRs so in theory they should also be more reliable

Bloke at the local shop has a sagaris on an 06 plate.

Stunning car sounds absolutely awsome!

Said he has had a few problems with it though. Not really what you want if your spending 50-60k on a motor!

True, but that's what comes with owning a TVR I guess!

Does anybody know where the name TVR came from?

the tuscan one came with a stright 6 4.0 engine, where as the tuscan 2 came with a 3.6 stright 6 engine which is the new style engine.

my dad has one his has never broken down once hes had two of the them, only thing whats gone wrong is a cat and rear shocks.
