im about to make an offer on a 300bhp uk turbo in white, black rims, p1 spoiler and carbon bonnet, looks ace but i cant afford to insure it for a while

Sorry mate i think its a tad expensive for a wrx. Just sold mine for less than that and was newer. Scooby's have really dropped in price this year. However they are the best car i have owned! Get a front mount on there as they are cheap as chips. Also i recommend a simtek ecu if you plan on going further. Very nice car tho, and they are very addictive!
