Not being funny, but you probably should look for a job... afterall, you're struggling to get the money for the car at the moment (£300 needed) - then you have tax and mot? not to mention the crazy current price of fuel and servicing / maintence costs...

If I was as tight on cash as it sounds like you were, i'd be waiting till i had earnt some money before shelling out for a car.

So for everyone else, im going to be buying a car and need another 300quid to pay for insurance (churchill wont let me pay by installments :mad

I have 2 jobs already and also starting AS exams next week

Cant borrow any money of my mum as my brother owes her loads

get a £300 cheaper car.. then you will have £300 more for insurance.

ask your mum to take a credit card out with a 0% on purchases for 12 months or 6 months.

then get her to pay for the insurance from the credit card.

then pay your mum back all the money before the 0% period expires.

won't cost your mum a penny and will improve her credit rating so long as it gets paid on time.
