I thought the corsa VXR had the record? Thing is, generally for most of these 'manufacturer' laps, it's who's got the biggest budget really... i.e. can afford to close the track, hire a pro racing driver, do loads of practice laps and then go full all out ...
As I say, I'm not dissing the car... it's nice. I just think the 'nurburgring' name is being used to try to make it a lot cooler / unique - as a lot of people are interested in / know what nurburgring is and what it means to have conquered it.

i had the pleasure of seeing one of these pass me on the road last week.
oh my 
the exhaust was unbelieveably loud, popping and just sounded like satan on crack
the colour is perfect and stands out like crazy.
although he had the normal 19'' VXR wheels on

No, i'd buy a Corsa VXR in 888 spec If not then i'd have this.

saw on in local dealership last week. wheels arent as abd in the flesh but im not a fan of them. dash has never been super on them anyway. seats are lovely but would get them retrimmed white and black leather.

For 18k i'd have a TMS Stage 3 "normal" VXR in Arden Blue...obviously with the 19's.

Nothing.
Just full remus system giving about 15bhp
