Bullet proof up to 170ish bhp then you need to start looking at uprating internals and turbos etc

Impreza turbo and forged pistons set up right will run 220 bhp nicely

There great on motorways, they really dont touch boost at all, plus they have hi low boost button which really keeps the mpg at a reasonably level.

I would consider one for the right price

good point that fad, thats one thing my mate said, because he sold his to his mate, drove his new car round for a few months then had a go back in the starlett, and he was shocked at how bad the brakes were

where do you get the idea the brakes and handling are not great? it depends what brakes and what coilovers you have, il refer to my mate bens his starlet is admittedly a stripped out track car and is on semi slicks he took me out in it the other night has 3g groved disks with celica calipers not sure what coilovers but brakes work great as hes at about 240+ bhp atleast and he had it going around a round about at 60+mph without any sliding completely controlled and is uncatchable down a country lane and in a straight line for that matter..

starlets are excellent cars if you do them right, cant just wack a set of gmax shocks and springs on if your gonna tune them you gotta do it properly =)

because they know f*** all about the cars they sell, had a really bad experience with a car i bought give them there due they gave me my money back after a week of argueing but my advice is not to go there, if you want a starlet or a glanza go on the official forum dont buy off cowboys yo

the starlet in the pic, i think thats the toms kit! theres alot of kits for them check out
www.toytuning.com

on standard suspension they are not great, but i had teins on mine and was shit hot.

to what fad said, if you have forgies which you'll need for around 200+bhp and run the tdo4-tdo5 you can run 250+bhp.

i can admit brakes and abs were really shit. i hated it and felt very un-safe. id slame on the break and all id hear is grinding noises from the abs and it wouldnt slow down very quick at all. other than that there is not a fault at all.

this was my ep91

the older ones weren't that quick though they were incredibly well balanced cars, thats why 99.9 of them were lost to short circuit and autograss racing in the 90's
