i think they appeal to chavs as it has a turbo.
Shame they bolted it on one of the ugliest cars ever made
Id rather have a kia pride, at least that had white walled tyres

they are mega popluar round where i live 1, see one every other car haha, both the non turbo and the turbo are 1.3, non turbos will get beat by 1.4 corsas no bothers at all  awful heap of shit to look at, and listen to!

Gotta agree, there as ugly as a pulsar GTi-R bonnet vent.
As said, appeals to chavs so they can say "yeah mate, it as a turbo init brov"

gotta dis-agree lads, saying standard they run at about 130bhp is around about right saying there running .7 bar but anyone who buys a glanza or gt turbo usualy routes it to have full boost through each gear, ive just got a glanza and gone from a 125+ bhp corsa and the glanza is far faster and tuning possibilitys are endless. a couple of my mates have td04's forged rebuilds done the lot and my friend nicks starlet gt is running around 280 - 300bhp being rolling roaded again on saturday so for a 1.3 turbo that weighs nothing its a rocketship.. ;D

saying they appeal to chavs nobody can really say that as i see hundreds of chavs driving around in corsa's nova's s3's fiesta's everyday and i see a few glanza's every month when i goto the jap meet at mascrat, there will always be chavs who buy cars for the speed but like with corsa's how many chavs actualy do properly tune there cars without just wacking a filter on and a bean tin back box

for what they are, there pretty nippy. i dont know of any other 1.3 that can take that much abuse, but in mild tune/standard, they are pretty wank, my valver corsa rips em, so does my mates skoda vrs.

Damian_666's Starlet Glanza, was standard and rolling roaded at 135bhp. His standard Glanza was just as quick as my Corsa when I had an XE in it. Quality cars, i'd happily recommend them and think they look great!

i had a starlet which is the older one to the glanza 135bhp as standed they are, rapid for there engine size though

Starlet GT are a weeeny bit faster than the later glanza yes.
They do a 1.3 74bhp non turbo one too

where I live they very popular and also some decent ones the GT ones are better and faster than glanza altough same engines due to gearbox ratio and is a popular mode here to swap glanza gearbox with gt ones also mount the intercooler on the front thus removing aircon
