Don't ask me, I can do wiring and an oil change!

I would say in bits, more room to work around it. Get the intake and inlet off, manafold and exhaust, battery and tray off.

use a crane and just whip it out in one go, if you take inlets and shit off you need new gaskets?

Will has a point actually. Just get the air intake and battery out, then all in one, no new gaskets needed etc
