You can buy stuff wholesale from ebay and sell it on retail and make a few bucks. A friend of mine sold iPod jacket thingies a few years back and made a few squid.

I'd say buy things from china and sell them on ebay, but ebay is already flooded with that stuff

I want to start building Carbon hulled 6.5m RIBs with white tubes, carbon deck fittings and twin 135hp Outboard motors.
I've designed the hull form and boat and my Dad's up for letting me have the garage so long as he can come in on it with me.
Once the house renovation is finished I'm going to jump in on it.
Only problem is you can't sell a self build boat for 7 years after production unless you're registered in business and have the boats cerified for use.
But I reckon there £15000+ profit in each one assumin I don't have to pay Dad's electric and heating bill

It's more that most obvious things have been done, so the market is saturated. i.e. importing things from china and selling it on ebay must of made the original people v.rich, but these days the market is saturated with cheap mp3 players and such
