Less of the funny man talk, Untill you can say any of this to my face and not over a forum then you just look like an 'e-thug' as you put it.

All talk and no go.

Your just coming across like an angry teenager rather than some sort of hard man

So what if you claim to be able to back things up in public why not just stick to the level in here and try and make him look silly by being quick whitted

I would like to know where you got your fact about helicopter travel being safer than being in a car too

I asked a simple question about a fact you posted (genuinely interested in where you got that info from)

And I laughed at what was a fairly random and funny quote.

You obviously know what you've said was a little stupid and made up so decided to let the e-thug out of the cage.

How was it stupid, If anything can go wrong it will go wrong, Wether it be brakes on a car or an engine in a Helicopter.

Yeah but Eck knows Im taking the piss and he does it back. If he had a problem he'd only have to tell me and I'd stop it - he knows this.

This guy on the other hand is just being a knob.

Why was this not your first reply (even though it's slightly strayed of point)?

You said, as if it was fact, that you are more likely to die by your brakes failing on your car than by the engine on a helicopter. I asked where this fact was from, is all.

But I didnt take the piss out of you before you came back with your fairly common e-thug reply. I laughed at a comment (I'd of laughed no matter who wrote that tbh) and I asked you to back something up - again something I'd of said to anyone.

Fair play but the fact that if anything goes wrong in a helicopter kind of means your gonna fall out of the sky and die means it probably is a bit more dangerous that being in a car.

Helicopters and light aircraft for me are 100 times more dangerous than a car on a road.

Wow this thread went off topic....

Anyhoo,
My dad flies for Bristow Helicopters, similar to the picture Colin posted. So because of him I’ve always wanted a career in aviation, either fixed wing or helicopters.

Basic PPL costs around £6000; costs more if you want to fly in instrumental conditions or at night.

My plan is to take a summer out and learn in the States or New Zealand because it’s so much cheaper.

Commercial licences can cost from £50k upwards if its self funded.

Dunno if that’s useful to you or not.
