I phoned up.

3, yes 3 previous owners, so it's on it's 4th. So 3 owners in just as many years, with only 15k covered

He wasn't sure of service history, which would naturally include recalls of any car that age.

No outstanding finance.

Accidents? "Not that I know of".

And 'worst' of all, he sounds like he'd "pop a cap in yo ass".

Was too good to be true.

Ed - facelift SRi of any sort normally lowest price you find is £4.5k.

GSi_16v - £3.5k? Done

Go and see it mate, see what you think.

Car checks can be had for a fiver on the RAC website. And nothing wrogn with 3 previous owners IMO, might have been a demo car for 8 weeks, then had an owner for a year each there - I only had my corsa for a year!

why dont you go and see the car and have a good look round it insted of just passing it off because of a fone call?
