not too sure on that i think its where you set it to a temperatureand the car stays at that temp?

basically its a preset temperature which relates to the humidity of the cars internal temperature

for instance
internal temp - 14 degrees
aircon then sets it so its a couple of degrees lower with cleaner fresher air

Nice car, I've got the 1.9tdi sport.
The 1.4 is quite nippy but you should have got diesel.
