That image is a pisstake whether you judge it as so or not. It's a slur on this web site and I'm actually rather angry about it.
I think the thing that you should also consider is that sites like Barry Boys which profess to be against the chav mentality and stamping out bad modification are actually promoting it through talking about it all the time and posting pictures like that above.
The amount of chav behaviour, particularly on here is actually very small in the grand scheme of things and also generally stamped out rather quickly by the more serious members.
Poking fun at it rather than addressing the issue actually does help and you've made no friends whatsoever being completely obtuse about it.

I've been browsing the site for years, and have never seen a chavvy post or txt speak tackled by a "serious" member. Granted I can't read every single thread but you get the gist.
Would you not say Barryboys is a good thing? I have seen several chav modifiers get ripped on Barryboys only to realise the error of their ways and stop building these monstrosities. Surely thats a good thing? We're not just talking about Corsasport either, it's the whole modified car scene that I should hope we all love... going down the pan!
OK I admit the post came across the wrong way but the intention was good

If you've never seen poor literacy challenged then you've missed it - it does happen. You might also miss threads if they're trashed for that reason, which I do when they are bad enough to need it.
I think you're creditting BB for more than it is due tbh. I think most people grow up and refine their style although if this were a competition I would argue that CS is responsible for better advice to more people than BB is.
And yet it is CS that gets the photoshop skits? Like I say, misses the point somewhat.

Firstly your example picture is not a typical corsasport post. The majority of corsasport users 'had' corsas years ago and moved on, they're now in the 20's and have no interest in bodykits.
Secondly I don't think i've seen a member of this site produce any big bodykitted cars for years? and when they have, people rip into them.
The only good thing with your piss take was the dog having aids. Apart from that, it was a really poor effort that must of taken you ages.

I thought it was funny myself and also quite on the ball.
I don't see why people are getting their knickers in a twist over it unless it is a reflection of them?
There is quite a tolerance of text talk on here, I tried pulling people up on it in the tech sections only to have posts deleted so if anything I would say the text talkers are protected as it were? I also liked the generic tongue in cheek things about the replies in for sale threads, the amount of times I have seen people put 'Oh I would have it but i'm skint' or 'Oh I would have it if it was red' etc is beyond a joke.
People chavving up Corsas is one of the main reasons I will get rid.
