There are much better looking vauxhall wheels than the Cav Gsi Wheels. I'd say the vast majority of people get them because of cost rather than anything else.

If cost's not an option, surely you'd buy some lightweight rims - Vauxhall rims are certainly not particularly light . Mates 15" Sxi wheels were heavier than the 17" OZ's he replaced them with, and the car handled alot better on the OZ's so i'd say it's more down to wheel selection than anything .

Percentage of people arent using their corsa as a track day car though so they do not require a lightweight wheel, i see what your saying, but i know when i bought mine it was for offset facter and i wanted it to handle wel, an they fitted the bill.

I Think on the right car they can look really good, 16V_1600's car is a good example

However I don't think they would suit mine

I could have bought a brand new wheels / tyres package for the cost of buying the Cav wheels and tyres, but whats the point when they come with shit budget tyres etc.

For me, it's about fitting wheels from the manufacturer, the correct offset etc and some decent tyres, I think my cav rims look nice, but I bought them for function over form.

Should have bought Steel rims TBH. They're cheaper, lighter and stronger .

Steelies don't look nice though, ok then I wanted Vauxhall alloys that were more function over form if you want to split hairs.

speedlines look good-loads of people buy them

and wtf is with this bandwagon. if you like them get them, if not dont.

its like saying because the person behind you in mcdonalds bought the same thing as you they they are on the bandwagon.

just looking for a reaction imo

They beat the majority of aftermarket Ripspeed multifits you see on Corsas.

Granted I'd sooner have some speedlines or lightweight specialist wheels but GSi wheels aren't bad by any means

Second this. Like when you said that because a guy had an R33 GTS that it was a fake skyline because it wasn't a GTR. This comment alone is retarded and will make everything you say go straight over my head.

Go cast your line elsewhere.
