red dieslel can be filtered to get rid of the colour you know.

ye but theres also a chemical added to it so they know its red diesel
and cistoms can check it as they dip your tank and analyse it

Road side tests can only tell by colour and you'd have to be really unlucky to be tested by the dip test.

yeh they can still tell by testing.tbh it would only be worth filtering it if you had a large amount.
