They are not.
The protein is too complex when its uncooked (apparently). Also you run the risk of salmonella.

Agreed, I spent £20 on a 404g tub of promax! (small tub)
http://monstersupplements.com/store/p/2809/1/PhD-Nutrition-Synergy-Iso7-4.4lb-/-2kg-+-FREE-SHAKER.html
That is the best one to go for!
- Cheaper
- Just as effective
- Tastes great
Im thinking about going for double choc cookie
If you read the reviews you will see that they say DONT BUY MAXIMUSCLE!

It's good to take a protein shake afterwards to help with recovery I don't think it matters that you've only done CV exercise

A lot of them recommend having a shake 30-45 mins before your workout and then straight afterwards as well
It's kinda funny when you have too much protein, the good old protein sweats kick in

Protein sweats? what the hell are you chatting about, too much protein doesn't make you sweat... you may feel you sweat more in the gym but thats not because of the "protein shake" the protein shake before the gym will help your bloodflow to your muscles and it will also cause an increase in catecholamines (e.g. noradrenalin, adrenalin) so therefore you will find it easier to work out as your feeding your muscles still and not causing catabolism.
Also Peanut Butter is not a form of protein, its full of sugars which can be bad for you if your losing weight, unless your using the organic natural peanut butter

Stepbro who plays rugby and works out regularly says that by having too much protein you can get protein sweats (known as meat sweats)!
Not from having loads of protein shakes no, but by having a combination of both protein shakes and a hell of a lot of protein!

To get any type of sweat from protein you'd have to eat a hell of alot of protein or be a 20 stone bodybuilding pro or a "competetive eater" which it states there, i doubt your neither (well i hope your not a competetive eater anyway!)
Normal person wouldn't experience it really, most people will piss out the excess protein in their body, you can only digest/take a certain amount of protein in one go as your body will just piss the rest out, the amount i don't know exactly

lol, no im not a "competitive eater" my brother mentioned it to me a while back.. he said that he had a couple of protein shakes that day and he went out in the evening and ate a huge T-bone steak!!!
I however don't get protein sweats, just thought I would mention it!
Im 16 stone but unfortunately not a bodybuilding pro!

You should really have a meal 3ish hours before and a post work out snack shortly before rather than a full meal.
Then something post work out that is high protein like a protein shake.

I have to after cardio. You've still used your muscles and this helps them to repair.

Actually this is more like what I do. Usually have a meal quite a few hours before. Then if Im hungry a snack or some fruit an hour or so before hand
