ive got a ho-bao hyper 7. its a rallycross buggy

got a RB WS7II engine in it and it does about 70mph top end and gets there in about 2 seconds

basically its fast as fuck but uncontrolable

steve get some carb cleaner from halfords and give it a squirt down the plug hole and it will give it a good kick to start it from cold

I use to have one which did 70mph. Was stupidly fast, you couldnt control it as it would get awayfrom you so quick you would run out of road. And when you did get a space big enough to open it up, it would go so far away you wouldnt be able to see what it were doing. waste of £400. Got another buggy which just sits here as the throttle as broke - lots more fun though for road use!

I've only skimmed the thread as it's getting on a bit. Will have a proper look tomorrow. Did you get the car running ok Steve?
I have quite a few RC cars and several are glow fuel powered. They can be a real pain to get running or keep running.

don't know if the first question has been answered yet but......
put your thumb/hand/penis over the air intake and pull the starter several times to draw fuel into the carb then heat the glow plug and pull the starter again and brooooooooooom ding ding ding ding

I think everyone buys a rc car at some point in their adulthood and use it a few times and then it just gathers dust...

I've got one at home that cost fair bit of money but never EVER gets used. My cousin always digs it out and asks to use it, but he'd just smash it up, and it's no cheap toy. So instead it just gets unused.
