I like the car loads, just not the 2 tone colours i'm afraid. They don't seem to go together.
A nice Pearl white would look amazing, or even Alfa's Nuvola Pearl Blue would be perfect

sorry not taking on any more work,
reason for me being so quiet on here is cos had bad xmas, dad was feeling under the weather in november, had tests, went into hospital but still pretty fit, turned out his liver was bad so waiting for transplant, seemed bit unfair 53years old and NEVER drunk or smoked!!!!!!!
anyway 25th december went into intencive care and he was on life support till 6th december when he passed away!
totally gutted but i never fell out with either of my parents all 25years of my life and always been close so no regrets! dad was like my best friend and my dad, he tought me everything i know and i done alot to cars to show dad wot i could do, made him proud!
anyway long story is we are selling the farm so i am loosing spray shed! gutted cos i love doing the cars but dont get the sense of acchevement now that dad cant c wot i have done! so end of era for me!

very sorry to hear about your dad, real shame for you and your family. Nice to hear you had such a close relationship though
As for the car, in todays world go for the whole car in silver - clean and shows the work you have done on the body

it dont seem fair, but gotta get on with life, would give anything to have dad back! he was my insperation and y i did alot of things!
2days before he went on lifesupport i was chattign to him for last time when it was just me and him, i had just been offered a car to buy, totally ridiculious to even think bout buying it and even i knew that!
but dad was in the hospital bed basically trying to persude me it was good idea to buy it and would make me some money, EVERYONE else thought it was mad idea, but dad was pushing me to do it, total ledgand! he was quiet chap and always did things different bit like me and cars.........
main descision he made was choice to go into crops instead of wot he was advised by EVERYONE to go bigger in cows! he did opposite to wot he was told to cos thought it was betta, 2 years latter BSE came along and reuined the cow market!
crops was right descision,

sorry to hear about your dad, you never know, you might get a wee garage somewhere and continue making him proud
did you do the silver, then lacquer the full car?

flatted the whole car to make ti matt finish,
then maked the car up like normal
the masked up bottom half, door shuts same etc
painted top half silver
then masking off bottom half
laquered
prob i did was i was lazy and just primed the area where scraches were and didint rub down after so the paint was dry over them, was not in the mood for painting so just went and re laquered over the top, so u can c where it was scratched if u look!
i think i will leave it, finish it then may do colour change
prob gonna sell car i think

okay im going to sound mean, but when i saw the first pic of someone had scratch writing into the paintwork it made me chuckle.. god knows why..its just stupid that someone would stand there for ages scratching it!
and the second thing... i actually like it with the silver! i wouldnt personally choose somthing like that or a couple things done to it, but i like it and if it was all silver i reckon it would look very boring!

I think that looks good and works well, it just needs a pinstrip or something to bring the colours together?
very original and setting a new trend imo
