If it was me i would say EK9 type r as they are so sexual...£8k for a clean one thats 8 years old though is steep IMO

think the EP3 CTR would be my number 1 choice on best overall hot hatch for your budget.
182 could be argued is more fun to drive and just as raw( for a new hatch) but doesnt have the engine and gearbox combo of the CTR and will probably have more annoying niggles with it.
think the new ibiza cupras (180bhp model) are well worth a look aswell and with a car based on the vw polo with that much power certainly wont hang about though i would imagine they are abit softer in terms of handling compared to the other 2
