Every 2 weeks is a bit extreme is it not?

The SOHC tend to be alot more reliable in my experience, ive always had vauxhalls pretty much, and all the ones that were spot on runners were the SOHC, it was only when i moved to the DOHC and V's i started having problems. I had a mk3 astra with the same 1.4 engine as my corsa, that had done 190k and its still going strong!
Oh and as a rule, im quite obsessive, i like to service every 6 months
