Missed that part. Nice one. If your going to get the Ibiza, id just hang onto the sport.. I think you could last a few more weeks with it.

I want to start attending more track days etc, so the xe would be ideal tbh, no electrics, no air con etc, so it'd be easier to strip.

Yes i want to take the ibiza on the track, but I'd also like a track car, which is why i'm favouring the xe.

Wouldnt really want to strip the sport as it's quite a good example, and would be a shame for it to get abused on a track

Infact, strip the 2.0 corsa, put a cage in it and use it as a stage car. Its really easy to enter the night owl rally league. Get competing

I'll co-drive if you want

truth is, there are loads of tatty XEs about, it's not like eck's is anything out of the ordinary really.
if it was me, i'd sell the sport and then be in a position to buy a better XE than this one.

Keep the sport stick a set of Koni's on it and take it out on track. Less to go wrong then.

If you seriously wanted a track car i'd look into something that good out of the box that way you spend less oney having to make it good like upgrading suspension brakes, replacing CV joints repeatedly etc etc.

Plus I feel if you bought a more critically aclaimed cheap hot hatch the whole track experience will be much more enjoyable.

Not always though. I dont personally know anyone with a 2.0 Corsa. Most of my mates didnt think it was possible either when I said I was thinking of it. Just cause they litter the Internet doesnt mean everyone knows about them.

Most people?

I'd say 10% of people on the British highway expect a corsa b to have a 2.0 16v 150bhp engine.

Most people, 'Most' know if they are going to race a Corsa and it pulls away from them faster than expcted , They'll know its a 2.0.
