Technically only 4wd when it detects a loss in traction. IIRC.

Agree under 15mph its 2wd. above this speed and only when traction is lost does the haldex system kick in tarnsferring up to 40% to the rear

Fitting an uprated haldex improves this

TBH I disn't like the haldex proved very unpredictable on the limit

Had an XE corsa nowt but trouble, then had a Pulsar GTI-R and loved that, just fancied a change so bought the DC2 and it was slow compared. I also have an MR2 turbo for the weekends so just after something that willl put a smile on my face through the week

TBH insurance groups mean shite

Its the cost of car to replace, parts, theft rates etc

When i had the TT that was group 18 and they would insure me no problem but on a CTR which is 17 they would not insure me plus the TT was dearer to buy

Same hhere i've had the Pulsar and MR2 Turbo and they will not touch me on a Subaru due to them having a high theft rate. Absolute Joke really as my Pulsar would have been just as quick and easier to steal

My TT is smooth and handles quite well as standard.

Understeers when pushed though.

lol a new engine was going to be fitted which was being tuned to 400-500bhp so didnt need the turbo etc so sold them on and another was bought from a 45k miler engine and fitted, the head was just replaced as he had a space kickin about as far as im aware.

Cheers Jambo, yeah most have black interiors like the silver one i had.
