It's taken me a year of swimming between 800 -1000 lenghts a week, cutting down alcohol to once a week, cutting out carbs and only eating healhty food, plus doing weights and situps every day, just to lost 2 1/2 stone.

I have a really bad habit of not eating because I can't be bothered to make food or even move from wherever I am. But when I do eat, I can eat like a motherfucker and I gain no weight, it's the way forwards

I just look at a plate of chips and I put on 3 pounds

Fucking takes the piss, I find at uni throughout the year I slowly put on weight (probably due to drink mind) ... then come back at hols and have to work my arse off down the gym to lose it all again... then go back to uni and it goes back up again...ffs

right now i'm just trying to cut back while going to the gym several times a week...

Today I had a small bowl of cereal with fully skimmed milk, lunch i had couple of bits of skinless, unbreadcrummed plain chicken, with lettuce, then for dinner just had a piece of chicken with carrots, peas and green beans.

boring as fuck.

I want to eat a pizza or something haha. Watched my mate eat a mcdonalds yesterday, bastard. I don't even like mcdonalds but it made me hungry.

fuck off, I'd trade in a sec. I've got mates like you, can eat anything and never put any weight on.

Saying that, one of them recently exploded like he suddenly got really fat in about 3 months!

Thing is, weird shit with me is I weigh nothing all the time...

like I was 9 stone 8, currently about 10 stone 5, and so wanna just get back down to about 10 stone again. but i do find if i don't go to the gym at least once or twice a week, I'll put weight on, regardless of what I eat (I think because if i eat too little, my body goes into starvation mode and I gain weight when i go out drinking and end up eating a kebab lol).

Jonny if you want to bulk up, eat loads of protein and carbs. Do your work out but just make sure you're taking in LOADS of protein and carbs.

Thing is with me, i work nights, it fucks my body clock and i regularly sleep loads and miss dinner and breakfast. I figured that would fuck my metabolism but seems to be on overdrive.

I have weighed 9.5 stone for about 3 years now. I do quite a lot of manual labour and sport but i do eat more crap than i should.

I mean last week i had 2 kebabs, one cheeseburger and a kebab pizza (all after nights out, i seriously cannot resist a takeaway once a drop of beer touches my tongue) so thats pretty bad i would of thought, enough to put on some weight? but no

I want to put a bit of fat on that i can turn into muscle

I eat pretty healthly at tea time etc. Always have my 5 a day fruit and veg.

yeh haha... As soon as I get the beer in me, I get the hunger. At uni however, I've been known of running and using the kebab as a baton like a relay race, with the food usually hitting the floor (which is probably for the best)

To be honest, my weight had stayed stable at about 9 stone 13 / 10 stone for ages! especially last year when I was just working normal hours, normal sleep and normal meals.

It's just since getting back to uni, I'm missing meals accidently, getting up weird times, going to bed weird times, drinking a lot, eating too much junk food etc...

I'd be honestly suprised if i didn't gain any weight at all!

Good thing is I can lose weight far far quicker than I can gain it. I'd gain like a pound a month (maybe) but could probably lose about 5-7 pounds in a week if I go to the gym enough. Obviously trying to just do 2 pounds ish a week at the mo so my body doesn't get fucked off.

Seriously though, my mate is such a skinny runt, but constantly goes to the gym, at first he had no luck. Then started taking protein, using creatine, and just eating constantly loads of carbs + protein and he's slowly gained more and more muscle. He's a bit of big fucker now

Though I remember one day, he decided to eat 3 donuts, 2 packets of crisps and a sugar'd fanta for lunch (probably not the best way to do it)

I think the takeaways and beer companies have some sort of underground thing going on. Once i have one beer thats it, all i look forward to for the rest of the night is getting some greasy diseased food

I like the sound of that diet

I eat really well to be honest, its only when i'm in work i eat shit, e.g tonight had a chinese, last night I had a subway.

Hate Mcdonalds but still have them every now and then, chicken legend!

And have a KFC bucket between someone every so often.

Usually eat lots of fish, veg, chicken etc.

yeh it's essential to the night out, although I've been disapointed a few times recently, with the later closing times, leaving at 3am and not having anything open!

I used to just have chicken shiesse (bits of chicken in pitta), then had the old burgers, even had the subway (which stays open really late) before on the walk back... but the latest and most definately worst is some deal at 'perfect pizza'

On the walk back to my house from town, passed the perfect pizza and saw some offer, giving one large pizza of your choice, a whole load of chicken dippers with barbeque sauce and a loaf of garlic bread. all for like £9-£10 or something.

Obviously share it with a mate... but it fucking hits the spot, all the things you want when your drunk, some chicken, some pizza, barbeque sauce and garlic bread! so nice.

I'd estimate that thing is a good 1500-2000 cals alone tho probably been the down fall.

PMSL Paul, your a proper student alright

The WORST thing EVER is coming ut and the kebab shops being shut. I actually made the guy re-open his shop once. I paid him £10 for whatever meat he had left and some pitta bread On reflection, that was not the smartest idea

I've had to get back into the swing of being a student, last year I was a 'suit' doing the 9-5.30 job every day on my placement year. Was good, made me grow up a lot and sort myself out.

Obviously within the 1st week of freshers week I was back to being a student again stealing stuff, getting caught by campus security with signs in hand... thinking on my feet and saying my name was 'Johnathan ross!' - GENIUS , passing out in the street and being picked up by police, making a fucking mess in my uni room when that kebab decided it didn't want to stay in my stomach after I ran home. Getting chucked out of one club, walking to another club, not getting in, then queuing back up for the club I was chucked out of to see all my mates pouring out of the place and randomly leaving a place wasted at 3am, stumbling into a grosvenoer casino with £200 I had just withdrawn and demanding they let me play black jack! .. etc etc. fucking students.
