Your local glorified bar/commercial nightclub isn't proper clubbing.

i dont mind clubbing once in a while. me and a mate had a convo on friday about how we never go into leeds anymore. were reaching 20/21 now and the only grumble i have with clubbing is the fucking gangs of idiots (not always chavs, but mostly are) who hang around obviously doing drugs and picking fights with people. id rather go round my local few pubs get smashed with the lads from rugby, get a kebab and go home.

hence the use for 'mainly'
It does get stupid though, the amount of money you end up spending.
Loving Uni though, good old Uni nights with course friends etc, and cheap drinks too.

Pretty much but they aren't really clubs but I get what you mean. Although I love going round town, suppose it depends what your into.

on here it seems so, to me clubbing is when you go to a specific club night/day/event for the music you enjoy listening to, with/to meet like minded people.

Much prefer bars and pubs.
I am trying to organise a night out to a big club in liverpool soon, not been out proper clubbing for ages. there's a few local places that are classed as clubs bu thry are just somewhere to follow from pub to drink more rather than being an actual 'event'.
I wana start going out once every few months and having a good night and getting funky

So A ) I make the effort to sort out a queue jump for me and my mates before hand... No queues
B ) Student nights are cheap to get in / free
C ) Student nights have cheap drinks £1.50 a pint etc
and Finally
D ) Student nights are packed full of fit student birds!
Good times.
Exactly, wednesday night is student night round York. Most places are £1.50 a bottle/pint. Cheap entry the clubs etc. Oh and point D is the best and only point you need tbh

i think alot of it also depends who your with and what mood your in, ive been in some absolute dives. for example theres a club in witney i went in with a few of us as a mates lives there and its that bad they sell bottles of lambrini with straws but all our crowd were having fun and it was such a laugh.
the other weekend was in london at tigertiger with a huge crowd but just wasnt really feeling it and just found it all pretty average
