Sounds good apart from the fuel consumption bit
I've gone for the Cupra 180 petrol too. Not too sure if it has any optional extra's though. Its Platinum Grey, so blends in nicely with other cars. It didn't feel as quick as my Corsa on the test drive, but i didn't really give it a lot of stick. The Cupra should be the quicker car i think.
Was hoping to get a diesel, but couldn't warrent the extra money that they go for.

Won't feel as quick becuase there is more car around you. But when I've beat most things >2.0 hatchbacks, you know its quick.
Owned a 2.0 NA MR2 last night!

Your corsa was quicker than the cupra, thats a strange one.
i went from a 1.6 sport to this. at 4k the turbo kicks in and the car pulls like a train, tio end it dies off.
Am looking into a few engine mods in the summer to see what we can do performance figures wise. How much are you paying if you dont mind me asking

Yeah, but its probobly just because its a lot quieter and smotther etc. I'm sure the Cupra will be quicker.
I'm paying £8995 for it, which i dont think is too bad considering its only done 11,000 miles with one previous owner and its from a Seat dealership too. There's not many round this way for less than that really.
And Rob, Mk4 FTW

Its coming with a years warrenty, gonna try and get some freebies too but i dont think they'll do much.
Thats still quite good mileage, alot for sale are up in the 30's and 40,000's. Looks good in yellow too, as you can see a lot more of the detail on it as apposed to say a black one.
