i dont know much about OJC,
What about appointing an extra moderator or 2 to keep an eye on him?
Mod squad?

Surely its easier just to not let him back than have more Mods although Mav and stoney arent on here as much as they were so maybe a rethink on the mods have some new blood in the role?

I disagree, they're exactly the wrong people.
Good users are predictable and you could go on holiday for two weeks and come back and not be surprised.
I don't see Oly or Nic in that category.

hmm I suppose your right there,
I mean in a mechanical sense, as nic knows his stuff, and his progress threads were excellent before he started to take the piss
I think his near death expierience tainted him a bit somehow, he just didnt seem to give a toss about anything

I'd like to think we could give him one last chance.
There is a history of trouble & disruption, but then again he's a nice bloke, who comes to meets & owns a car with relevance to the site. I'd much rather have him on here than some idiot who acts like an arse, doesn't come to meets & only seems to slag our cars off.....
Hi Steve
Joking aside though, that last comment was intended as a joke, but the rest is a valid point

even though he's banned, he still lives and breaths this site. we sometimes exchange emails at work, and this website is all he will talk about. let him back on. Willay and Matt H are doing a good enough job as moderators and between them should have things covered if ollie creeps back to his ways of old.

I didnt mean that your doing a bad job, I think its worth asking Mav and Stoney if they actually still want to be mods as their not on as often as they have been in the past. you and willay werent replacements of them, I do think Willay needs to stop trying to bait steve ive seen it on a few occasions and dont think thats what a mod should do (even if steve can be a pain sometimes)

You could let him back but ban him straight away, no questions or answers, the minute he steps out of line.

I get online when I can, Will does when he can, so does Mav, Stoney etc etc
Point being we're all on at different times through the day/night. It's not a case of other mods not coming online enough. We do this in our spare time as a favour

I dont think Matt and Will's moderation should be questioned here. no need for it.

Moderation isn't the issue, if he comes back and misbehaves I'll personally drive to Reading and unplug his router.
