but unless i point out where it hit you prob's would'nt notice

dont no what to do about the girl who's wheel trim it was though ?

you paid hard earned cash for your car, it's only right that if someone else does damage to it due to negligence then they should cover all cost's to get it back to the condition it was in prior to this.

Buy her some cable ties, tell her to be more careful with her road positioning and forget about it.

It's not worth the effort, you'd be fucked off if someone expected money from you for a wheel trim coming off, give as you'd like to receive IMO.

Difficult decision really, although it's her fault as her inability to avoid a kerb damaged your car, you can't help but feel guilty for claiming for something so minor.

But they way the world is going people claim for anything, and if she got hit by a wheel trim I bet you she'd demand it fixed.

Just ask for £50 or something. That way if you were in her position you wouldnt be as pissed off, yet your getting her back for doing it?

It can not be that bad other wise you would not be debating what to do?? I agree with Robin, you can't go claiming for every little scratch when a big accident happens its going to look bad when you claim for it. Phil is also right you should be lucky it was not serious. If you can get it done at your body shop with know probleams Why all the fuss? Just forget it :-)

Bingo. She offered to cover the cost of repairs, and if it was sorted for free then leave it. Better than leave it, suggest she buys something to hold them on better so that it doesn't happen to anyone else.
