Redundancy sucks. My department was in line for job losses but luckily enough people left of their own accord.

My company was in the paper not long ago, about shutting down a whole office in birmingham to outsource msot of it to india. Probably only a few years before it comes back round to us again.

he was temping so it comes with the job. But he basically can't afford anything but his rent next month so he needs work quickly.

They're making job cuts here to.

They have to save something like £2M to stay with the governments target.

Would work better if they didnt spend £10.5K on a plastic sheep

Iain - I meant the redundancy shadow will probably loom over my office again. But yeah the people in india are not doing very well with things at the moment.

conditions they are working in are very stringent aswell. i.e timed toilet breaks shit pay etc.

Will - I'll have a look on the intranet if i can find anything, what sort of work is he after?

Been thinking about HID's but not sure if i CBA with the hassle. things are too tight in the bay, cut my hand up running a stupid power cable for my sub
