I did 46 hours in December.
I woke at 7am on the Friday, and didn't go to bed til 05:00 on Sunday.
I then slept til 4pm sunday and fell asleep at 9pm that evening. Messed me up for a couple of days tbh.

I did the 36 hrs at school though.
French ( ) coursework.
Woke up 8 o clock one morning, went to school, came home, did all nighter on french coursework, went to school the next day and then went to bed at 8-9 the following day. Last couple of lessons on the second day were hard to say the least.

Well, what I did yesterday sounds a bit rubbish.
Was up at 7am, then went to Uni to use the library make a start on some coursework. Then Marketing Assistant job from 1pm to 5.30pm, then back home to do some Uni work.
Finally turned my computer off at 1.30am this morning.
I felt bad enough doing that.
Never actually done an all nighter - guess I'm just too organised with my coursework
My sister however had done frequent all nighters when she was at Uni because she was doing fashion. Particularly when she was preparing her final collection in Year 3. She often made the mistake of thinking "I'll just get in bed for 5 minutes" then woke up the next morning
She also fell asleep once with her dressing gown cord in a mug of hot chocolate, it soaked it all up

Story in the local paper today about a lad who was working nights, then on the last shift came home, had a couple hours sleep - took three of his mates to an all night rave 100miles away, had a joint whilst he was there and on the way back fell asleep, killed his three mates and has been sent down for 4 years!
Probably lack of sleep had nothing to do with it and it was more than one joint, but eitherway shitty result

When i used to play online games i'd find myself regularly doing all nighters, do like a friday afternoon after college and next thing i know it would be sunday. Now i'm older i can't handle it anymore, NYE i didn't sleep and im still recovering now. Don't have the time to catch up on my sleep anymore so i feel shit for ages afterwards.
Longest i've done is over 48 hours, i went to a big LAN event when i was younger, stayed awake for over 2 days, drank so much red bull because our sponsor paid for it, thats probablly why i hate the shit now! I passed out and fell into a deep sleep o nthe way home, felt so shit when i got home, stumbled to bed at like 6pm and didn't wake up till 1pm the next day
Those days have long gone now and now the thought of staying up for all nighters doesn't even cross my mind probablly due to the fact i dont play any games anymore

I regularly do 30 or more during holidays from work. I just time is so it ends at 9/10pm a couple of nights before I need to be back in work to get back in the routine.
The limiting factor for me is that I get annoyed when I can't do what I'm trying to stay awake for. Its normally computer related, which mean silly things annoy me like windows not switching fast enough. That is when I know I need to give up. I don't actually feel tired as such.
My advice for sleep is clear your head and darken the room. I got new curtains and a notepad by my bed for this purpose. Works a treat.
