tbh it depends on what you have. If your eating pure chicken breats (i.e strips), then you know its chicken (even if they have been poorly treated and kicked around by idiots at the factory).

If its nuggests then its nothing more than mechanically seperated meat (the left over bones jet washed down etc).

I personally keep well away from that stuff.

I knew what happens to the chickens anway tbh, and whilst its not much of a life, it didnt really bother me that much. What i didnt agree with was killing innocent underweight ones which are healthy, a very unneccessary death

I like animals more than humans, i cared more when i run a cat over than any injurt ive caused to a person.

but...

needs must and i love chicken, so i dont think of it and put it out of my mind. I am not going to stop it from happening so its pointless not buying it.

I also buy tescos cheap fillets so these are probably battery chickens too??

id buy from a farmer but i cant see the cleanliness been as good

My factory kills and processes all of the "2 for a fiver" chickens he was banging on about, and orders are up today over last Thursday, so thus far its not having any effect on peoples buying habits.

Yeah, I can't see the series having a huge effect on sales of cheaper chicken though, my factory alone is killing 2million birds a week, most of which are for Tesco.
