to be honest i dont give a fook abouts girls being mates ex's, im with a mates ex now, allthough he was only seeing her for about 3 weeks a few months later shes asked me out for a drink and it went from there, been together for about 10 month snow and looking to get our own place.

My new missus is an ex-mates ex. He's a total cunt though so I don't care 
Their relationship ended about 4/5 years ago too.

Four years after is a long time though, so i would suggest having a chat with the bloke. Chances are he would have moved on in that amount of time.
Whilst you are chatting, you could/should ask him if she does it up the bum etc because thats all a 12 week relationship will be worth
