i have a mg zr 105 + the new facelifted model, i bought it cos i really liked how it looked. After having it for 2 years now i have to say its been great, and they are qyuick for a 1.4. Good car for the money, I havent had any of the problems that I know are common in the zr though, so i have a bias view. May be they sorted it all out when they facelifted it.

Driven a 200 BRM a LOT
It's me Dad's daily driver.
Cracking little car. Absolute tool for an 'out of the box' motor.
Needs funding for some fettling to perfect it though.

The nose is sparkle silver Eck. Dad had it painted to match the rims, mirrors, door handles, tailgate trim and rubbing strips.
Bit of a shame. Lost it's originality, but it does look smart.

i had one for a few months and agree with what you said.
had a few shots of my mates 120 and to be honest the 120 pulls alot better lower down the revs than the 160.

My Dad had the 200Vi and that was nippy. It didn't look anything special either, it had no redeeming features, but it did move some! Handled lovely too.

load of rubbish, i like my zed dont get me wrong but itjust needs more oomph, was yours an sxi or just one of the shit out of the box ones. not that they will be great difference in bhp?. but my corsa just felt more responsive, i reckon to 60 the corsa is as fast but after that the zr would probably see it of.

Hold on, 'was yours an sxi or just one of the shit out of the box ones'???
Cos its seat colours are different its gonna be faster than a 1.4 MG? Dont think it being an SXI even if the engine is different will make it faster than an MG, imo anyway.
