I wouldn't of bought it, or even taken it away from free, just because it's obvious to see that it has been neglected, everything that the previous owner has done has been on the cheap and bodged so it IS going to be a bag of shit.

I'd of not even gone to have a look let alone bought and paid money for the heap!

Not really, to get it "mint" you'll pay more than what it would of cost you to get a decent example to start with, you're now going to have to work and pay your money to undo someone elses fuck ups and bodges before you can start doing the things to it that you want to - would of been better spending a bit more on a bog standard example off a old granny and starting from there.
