As dev says, it does seem rather heathen and risky though.

and before anybody comes bk with 'but AP Racing told Dave to do it....'
Dave was doing it to an opposed piston caliper where the mojority of the stress is in the bridge bolts.

BTW I work for Caparo AP Braking and do know what I'm talking about, caliper testing is my day job.
