few people on PF have done £500 deposits

I'm not disputing that fact, just seems a bit odd however ....

So I've just spoken to Tom at Perry's in Aylesbury and they're are not taking deposits and apparently cannot until more finalised details become available for the FRS mk2. He mentioned something about may-july regarding deposits, but he can't confirm that though either. They can however register interest for the new FRS and send you out information as and when it becomes available, so I've put my name and *cough* Robinho's name on the list. Just to get information...

You can't order them YET How can he order a car that even Ford don't know finalised details about regarding spec etc etc. Unless he of course knows something even the FRS's own manufacturers don't?!

How can you order a car without it being available yet. yes he may have put a deposit down as said but ordering a car requires specing it

No why? You're the one who seems to be having trouble understanding.

Its like when you go into a restaraunt, you tell the waiter what you would like... which means you have ORDERED it.

Yes, the specification isn't final on the car, but the car IS coming out.

Placing an order means details, they have an ordering process which will require details which they will send to the factory and the car will be built.

They will not be taking orders until it's finalised and details are released.

They seem to be taking deposits now so the people who have put a deposit down can be at the top of the waiting lists.

I think your getting confused between ordering and expressing an interest/putting a deposit down.

How do you know it should be a belter?

Don't even know if it's 4wd or fwd yet

If the last one's anything to go on then yeah it should be good

Easy... my dads current RS is 247bhp and fwd. Thats a belter, so if the new one is any better, which i'm sure it will be, then i'm sure it will be a belter too.

tbh theres plenty and i mean plenty way over that figure.

stop saying shit in my thread thankyou, your dad has expressed his interest in the new focus rs, he hasn't ordered anything. when you order the car you will put down a deposit and go through ALL THE DETAILS of what you will be getting. you can't possibly know what you would be getting right now, thats what the sales executive is saying...
