dewalt power tools aint all that anymore (black and decker now) but drill bits and screwdriver bits are good but thing is with dewalt you pay for the name, ryobi are alright they are for light trade use and heavy diyers.

aint read all post but screwfix was doing a special deal , half price 18v makita hammer/driver drill for £100- baragin and good drill

go for de-walt mate you get what you pay for mate, you'll find the ryobi is made to made abroad for cheaper and dont use as good batteries like the new de walt li-thium batteries,also charge time are alot quicker!

dewalt is made by black and decker- only good thing that dewalt has on other drills is metal chuck
