why.do.you.want.a.corsa.turbo

the.speed.limit.is.70.on.the.motorway.so.there.is.no.point.unless.all.you.want.to.do.is.race.from.traffic.lights.in.towns.and.thats.just.a.bit.chav.really.

this is all you get on a recon engine from vaux.. and the price is an exchange for your old block and head etc, then you use the rest of the part's from your old engine..

could buy one with a fecked head gasket or needing pistons for £600 rebuild it, and its still cheaper than just the bare block and head from vaux

wouldn't bother with a full conversion kit...

i'd go for a set of mount's from chris astley, then run cav/cali equal lengh's for the shafts,

and have some cav/cali hub's machine to accept corsa barring's or get the hub carrier modded to accept golf syncro barring's and use unmodded cav hubs

shafts, hubs, mounts, anti-roll bar spacers, etc etc same as always, check out the lmf website for the kit

from my expierience get hevier poundage rate srings, my car handled shit, with a spax set up, it was ok but not the best, i have 2.0 brakes which seemed ok'ish if i was to do it again it would be a v6 conversion from lmf

fuck it im gona do it again

good stuff. my 2.0 handled well imo with a bilstein fixed height kit on it.
v6 conversion, the redrilled v6 disks? would i just need v6 calipers? can you buy new calipers to fit?

muppet, tbh i cant see this being finished anytime soon so I'll cross that bridge when i get to it.

are the conversion kit shafts and hubs any stronger than cav ones?
reason i ask is my old XE i ruined a hub, it wasnt expensive to fix it was just a pain in the arse as I didnt know they had to be machined down lol

ste.l.method.is.the.cheaper.one.and.just.as.good.possibly.better.due.to.the.equal.length.shafts.anyway.

if.its.a.project.as.you.say.sometimes.the.easier.route.isnt.always.cheaper.
