I hope I can fill up when I go out now
Red Dragon are responsible for this again. They did the same thing about 2/3 years ago and got heavily fined for scaremongering the public (nearly all of wales ran dry of fuel).
looks like they've done it again

i remember reading a website setup by the people who were responsible for the fuel protests back in 2000/2001.
They said that the government had set up laws to stop people blockading supplies so now the police can move them along which they could do before.
Personally i think its bollocks. If people buy fuel as they normally do there will be no shortages

somethings going on
pulled straight into bp near me and filled up straight away. price was 102.9 a litre.
went to tesco's and the petrol garage was rammed with car's, must have been at least 30 car's waiting for petrol.
on my way home i passed a different bp garage and there were 2 car's in there
so either people are too pikey to pay a couple pence more a litre for fuel or people believe there will be a strike soon.
i'm not bothered to be honest, if i need petrol, i will go to bp, no matter what the price.

I really hope there is another one. I do not have a problem paying £1 a litre, but its nearing 1.10 for diesel now. FFS it costs over £50 to fill the clio. Im gunna go top the tank up tonight, becuase IF it doe shappen, my area will be hit.

since we bought the VRS it has been run on nothing but Diesel ultimate from BP, on September 30th this year i filled up at £1.02.9 and yesterday i filled it at £1.15.9. I can handle a 1p or 2p rise now and again, but ffs 13p in 3 months? Think ill go back to normal diesel from tesco and try and make use of their 5p off a litre thing they do now and again

All adds up at the end of the month Stuart.
I run my car on the cheap Tesco petrol. Does 450 miles to £45 and runs ok. 95% motorway miles with some serious rush hour traffic. A tank lasts me 5 days.
Also, if you have a clubcard you get another 1p for every quid you spend at Tesco back in vouchers.
I'm pissed off at the fact the goverment can charge what they want. I need fuel to get to work and back so have to pay these silly prices. I want the goverment to stick to a fixed yearly price so at least we know where we are. If you ask me, all those pikey bastards on benefits want there payments stopped and made to work. That's where i think the major problem with this goverment is at.

Nothing seems to be a problem round this way. had to pay over a pound a litre for the first time today though
Il just give myself a pat on the back for modding my car so that it is less economical

I can as well back when I was a kid, saw some old footage on the TV about flooding and there was a clip back in '99 showing it about that price.
