I know of a police man that "lost" a case file on a girl that had been rapped. This lead to the rapist getting away without even being arrested
and? thats a drop in the ocean you cant expect a total turnover for everything

Do you know anyone who has ever been through the horrific event of a rape?
Have you ever spoke to someone who has been raped?
That might just be one but that has probably ruined that individuals life ffs
Edit: they are paid to do a job, they fail at their job, they continue doing their job. . .

Ive got nothing against the police, im joining after my law degree
But to have the attitiude that they can 'lose' someones case files and everything is all fine and dandy is a bit daft tbf. They have to keep some sort of standard.

a fil disappearing is suspect. yeah people mess up but what are you going to do, bin a guy after 2 years trainging to spend another 2 years traingin on replacing him. no, its not good business management, thats why they select certain people to do the job they just have poor support from upper management to carry out the job

What? You don't think people in other jobs lose files, make mistakes or do things badly from time to time?
Ok then

Office workers, waiters, bin men, van drivers, you get the idea.
Police officers do a job, the same as other people do a job. Both sorts of people are human and make mistakes, it's just one group gets leapt on and ripped apart for it.

Probably because they have more public responsibility than a bin man. A police man could possibly save someones life depending on their actions in their job.
I don't have anything against the police btw

Bin men do an important job Jonny.
I agree with you, but still, people make mistakes, that's just the way it is, the uniform doesn't make them superhuman, but some people think it does.
(a lot of them probably aren't all that clever anyway, so you can't expect much)

Of course it doesn't. Everyone makes mistakes i was just highlighting why they might be targeted more than people in other jobs.

On a serious note, i have never met a police man that i liked.
One example. An on duty officer once asked me to join him in a different room. He then pointed out a photo of my partner and said "She looks good there, get in son"
If i smacked him out i would have been behind bars ffs
