I agree with Lawrah, some people find anger stress relieving and take it out on whats nearest to them only to regret it, its a mental thing, may aswell be laughing at someone for having a terminal illness. Though they might get aggressive from time to time they can still be genuine and loving people.

Hmmm some very immature replies here. I know its a "comical" thread, but really, is it comical? Abuse in whatever form??????
Men getting beaten up by women isn't funny at all? No more funny than a man beating a women.
Anyone who would find it funny needs their head looking at. Its abuse, abuse isn't funny whatever way you look at it.
No, i've not been abused ever (well actually, during rows, the odd fist has come my way  ), but I have seen a lot of people who have been. Mother used to work in a rehab kind of place to help young people and adults that had been physically or mentally abused.
Its not funny at all, whatever way you look at it.
Would you joke about abuse if it was your own parents who were effected by it? Would it be so funny to you then? Im quite shocked by some of th replies tbh.

if a women/partner tried to beat me up i would walk away if she kept trying it i would lock her out of the room and laugh, pisses them off more but soon gets the hint
but yeah a lass hit me in school because the the ball accidently hit her head and got mud on her new jacket. i just laughed at her when she hit me and she just walked off in a strop
