New York is great we stopped with family on Long island for 10 days two christmas's ago, and trained into Manhattan most days. Think we had two days random driving around long island.

So much to see and do in NY hopefully going back either next summer or new year again.

Gg-mf you can't get lost in Manhattan most of the streets are numbered lol

Tiger did you go into Toys R us?

Wen't to NY 7 years ago, , lovely place
Times square is almost magic at night.
Wen't up the twin towers, empire state building and statue of liberty. Wen't to harlem, etc.. was a great week away.

Also saw the oldest man EVER in this shopping centre (looked like 150 years old lmao), was like 7am in the morning and it was dead, he was in this really posh suit and asked us if we were lost, we think he might have been a ghost

I stayed in New York City Hostel on 38th Street between 5th and 6th. Less than 5 mins from Times Square with great view of Empire State from the roof.

Sorry mate

Hotels and Hostels are totally different. Hostels have a much more social aspect to them, much less formal. You have common rooms to meet with other people, sometimes with big screen TV's and playstations, kitchens to whip up food and drinks in, dorm rooms that you share with other cool people and occasionally hot chicks too which is a real bonus. We had Swedish chicks, hot as hell, walking round in skimpy underwear when we were in New Zealand. Hotels are a bit sterile if you ask me, very impersonal and coz of the clientel its difficult to meet people coz there's no common ground.

I love Hostels, its official. There are occasional security issues but you could get mugged in the street so the chance is always there.

Well, no I guess not, although there are hostels that are good for 'em - like H.I. or YHA hostels that are aimed less at fun and more at conservatism and information.

I don't really get what you do in NYC?

I plan to go there at the start of my round the world travelling (only cost it costs no more to do so) I was just planning to go there shortly before continuing off else where as I thought I'd be bored out of my mind.
