Sounds better than jumping around like Zebedee on speed because we've necked a load of horse tranqs.

so true

but cosmo, it's more down to the fact the place is littered with uni students up for a good night and with it being so cheap it gets messy very quickly.
Back home, i find i rather just relax and catch up, perhaps hit a club if theres a large group etc.
Stuck up people doesn't really come into the equation - theres just as many wannabe toffs up north as there is down south.

I usually only do a pub crawl sort of thing rarely now....Now prefer to go out for a meal then onto somewhere for a few drinks..

The pubs and clubs are usually full of young pissed up wankers no matter where you go in Britian.

i don't enjoy going out as much anymore. Perhaps because most of my mates are at uni. When they are back and we all go out it generally is a top night. I think its the people you go with that will determine how good/shit the night will be.

We go to the same shitty places every week, same pub, same bars, same club.

The same jumped up tossers are there and I end spending up to £100, having a shit night, then thinking the next day what a waste of time and money.

Do others feel like this or am I just a miserable cunt?

miserable cunt. i'm still fucked up form lastnight.

Ditto, to a certain extent. I've got other things that I want to be doing with my life apart from drinking then feeling like shit the next day. Yeah its fun from time to time, but I'd prefer to see my friends when I can actually have a proper conversation now. Life here in Spain is a lot more social than back in the UK, mainly in that socialising doesnt revolve almost entirely around alcohol. Its been really nice to go out in the evenings with a few mates just to go for a walk along the sea front, stop at a café for a cup of coffee etc instead of going out and getting hammered. It also means I'm not hungover in the mornings, so I can go back to teh swimmin pool

i like the random nights. last night was nearly cancelled, was only me and one mate preparing to go out. we thought fuck it might as well. got pissed at mine, then for some reason got about three phone calls with people asking if we were out which we were so got a bit of a crew going. went to a club weve never been to before and didnt leave the dancefloor the whole time! was good... think the slightly older crowd was better. no young chavs running around this time
