That place with the couches downstairs and the window where you lie down looking onto the street was a nice place, although they didnt sell weed you were allowed to smoke it in there, spent many a nite and day on my trip in that window, also bought a flavoured bong from there and had it downstairs, after about 5 mins we realised they dont sell any weed here and that it was just flavored tobacco, so we promptly left without paying lol

Nope, its officially a bar and your not allowed to have a bar and a green shop in the same room.
Theres a bar on the main strip in the RLD, opposite lots of hunnis. Used to get green downstairs, go upstairs, sit at the window, have a beer and watch all the ladies...

Buschdocter is a tiny shop on the water front, not really much room, but again can get some good green without being ripped off.

we found a awsome shop, and wanted to go back but couldent find it again, was well good.
im planning my trip next year,just trying to get my mates to stop being homos
also going to amsterdam to get pissed is imo a waste of money and time

clearly you got crossed wires Amsterdam is a dump because of the type of city it is, not because of the buildings. The actual city architecture is nice now if they could just get rid of the red light district, the drugs and surrounding areas it would be a much nicer place to be. I've been to nicer citys in England
p.s whats ironic about a username on a forum and a city like amsterdam.

See thats a typically UK type attitude that i'd expect from a lot of people.
Prositution over there isn't "frowned" upon like it is in the UK, same goes for drugs. They got a much more open mind on how to run a city. London should take note

Thats what draws all of amsterdams tourism. Hence why they can't fully put in place the new EU directives on smoking inside buildings. Amsterdam would loose all its tourism, and its money...

its a typical ignorant attitude to believe that. I see nothing wrong with people wanting to smoke hemp or paying for sex however it can be done in better ways and there is more than just hemp and proper prostitution going on. Amterdam has a large volume of human trafficing and illegal imigrants working as ladies of the night and the drug problem in amsterdam is huge. Also while prostitution is legal, hemp is not and both these activities are not tolerated by all.
Amsterdam would not loose its tourism because of a smoking ban you idiot since not everyone goes to the city to smoke pot FPMSL you really do seem to be deluded, maybe all that pot smoking has done significant damage to your brain
still don't get the connection between pikey pete and calling amsterdam a dump aybe thats the brain damage talking again

Amsterdam itself wouldent cope if the coffeeshops and RLD clossed down.
Theres not a whole lot to do there other than that,iv been around many of the tourist attractions there and they were shit.its a common known fact amsterdam as a whole hasent got a hole lot to offer than the above two
