well i had a theory, if harry potter had the stripped out version of the ford anglia which was prepped for drag racing like the ones today, he would
a. have caught the train
b. would have been fucking cool
c. would have got with that hermoine bird as she would have totally be digging his sweet ride

Fad - MK1 Escorts were runining the track because they kept going BANG. One guy, in a nice orange one, did about 30 second burn out. Then, he had to push his car over the line. We figured he was restaging Cool Runnings and had an egg in the glove box for luck.
Then came out all the cleaning trucks and what not. Nearly all the incidents that 'closed' the track were from Fords. And not 1 popped 106 GTi gear box
Despite the considerbale dodgey turn out and troubles in finding people, there was some banter
Andy - Lily is a pissed she missed you. She wanted to perv at your bum
There were far too many bikes.
Oh and Dan. The way your ShatNav took us was better than the way we went home, and the way we went to PVS. It was bang on 20 miles going. About 30 miles home, plus my dodgey sense of direction. Sorry Fonz

Boring as hell on the strip. The banter and drive there were good fun though. Got bored of 'power rangers' and tot rods so we left early.
Jake only just* overtook me on the A509.

I was there yesterday in my SRI, ended up doing 4 runs againist my gfs SRI (Red & Black).
Really good day, shame the amount of bikes were there, was about an hours wait for the strip every time.

Aye Gregg, first run was 15.34 at 92mph was my best time of the day.
4th run against the type R was my best launch and i was heading the type r until i funked 2nd to 3rd then he beat me, het got 15 dead and i got 15.4 i think, would have been my best run
Was good fun though, but as has already been said it was far too packed
Were some silly quick cars though, liek the mk1 golf with 1.8t and nos with TT quattro running 10's
