In all honesty, I think Phil is trying to aim the sale towards a business i.e. another Car Audio retailer or manufacturer... the likes of which would be more likely to pay that sort of money.
The car is amazing in the flesh, and if I had the money I would snap it up at that price... just to preserve the work & effort that went into building it.

seen it in the flesh and my word, it is absolutely amazing. the work that has gone into it is unbelievable! it was at the motor show at the NEC? last year, interior was awesome as was the airbrushed exterior
it's worth the 25k in bits most likely, not as a full car though as it's still a c2 at the end of the day.

I had a good laugh when he brought it to bolton, the airbags stopped working and the alarm broke so he couldnt get in, i had a proper good laugh watching him try to get in, then try to get it to move while it was on the floor,

I wonder if he laughed at your bonnet that you forgot to paint and that doesn't fit your car properly?

115bhp
You'd be better off buying twenty five grands worth of butter. It would be quicker and people wouldn't laugh at you as much.

I'm sorry if this seems like a silly question Stu... but why on earth would another car audio retailer/manufacturer buy it? If someone else ie: SQ+ have done all the ICE etc why would another car audio company buy it?! Especially if they haven't done the work themselves and use it presumably as a demo vehicle and change the Alpine equipment or something Anyway, doubt it will sell for that price LOL cos of the airbubble hehe!

115bhp means nothing....
115bhp in a 500kg car is 230bhp per ton...
115bhp in a bike is silly power to weight...
The car I wouldn't be seen dead in.. although in standard form Ive seen a few nice ones

I think some of you need to think about what you are saying
This car is not for some joe public to buy and go to the shops in Of course they could if they wanted too. Nor will it be hammering it arounf castle combe, not everyone wants a car for going as fast as they can on a 30mph limit road
Like it or not - its very modified you dont have to like it - This is one of the most famous UK cars now, and is very well respected the world over for its ICE build. For a company to buy it would make a lot of sense especially if they sell alpine gear

certainly not my cup of tea...
...but the fact that you're all talking about it shows it's an awesome marketing tool
wonder who buys it and what happens to it next...
tbh, a citroen dealer should buy it... lol

Incredible car really, whether you like OTT cars or not. It's a league or two above most 'show cars'.

But it's cool to slag off something that you would never a) be able to afford, b) have the mind to think up, c) never have the skill, knowledge or talent to build.

I know why you would think that... but its happened a few times in the past before now.
I've seen a few companies pull out a demo car and claim it to be of their own work - even when its done a couple of years on the show scene prior.
An example would be the BBG Audi A4 (again built by SQ Plus, but owned by BBG - UK distrubuter of JL Audio & PG etc..) The car was bought by a company called "Just ICE" who changed the paintwork, added a few exterior mods & claim it to be their own work - http://www.just-ice.com/portfolio.htm
That's not to say thought that it can't be used by another shop as an alternative to a speaker stand... it may not be demonstrating what the company are capable of creating, but it could demonstrate the product they are selling.
